Snowshoeing is a combination of gentle fitness and intensive nature experience! Once you get to the top you are rewarded with a magnificent panorama. On a guided snowshoe tour you can experience the magic of untouched nature away from the hustle and bustle on the ski slopes. Our local guides hike with you through snow-covered forests, pastures and untouched mountain nature.

Romantic hikes as a couple, or sporting challenges for individuals or groups – explore the Gastein Valley on the most beautiful way! Especially for families with children, snowshoe hiking is an extraordinary experience.

Panoramic hike

For athletic beginners and nature lovers

Hike to regions usually not accessible in winter! On the new snowshoe trail in Dorfgastein our local guides will gladly show you the most beautiful and secret places. Our experienced guides hike with you from the half way station via the Arltörl to the summit of the Fulseck.
  • hiking boots or high-top hiking shoes necessary
  • bring something to drink and eat

guides tours daily on request: 1.00 pm  - 4.00 pm
price € 35,- per person (incl. snowshoes and poles but excl. lift ticket)

Day tours

For experienced hikers

On an individual day tour our freeride and mountain guides lead you to the summits, usually only reached by backcountry ski hikers. The tours are adepted to your wishes and stamina.

price € 45,00 per person (incl. snowshoes and poles but excl. lift ticket)
min. enrollment 4 persons per group
