Gone are the times when daring nostalgics came to the valley with their cross-country type skis.

Now, with modern equipment, the telemark style makes a comeback.

The play with the free heel fills even firmly established downhill skiers with joy. Also snowboarders flirt with the new, old technique and Austria's ski heros, first and foremost the local ski pro Hans Grugger, make use of the telemark technique in order to perfect his style.
